Directly managed a team of 5 globally across 4 different products, and co-led a team of 12 designers across Auctane’s entire product suite.

• Orchestrated the roll out of a rebrand to Auctane’s core products

• Oversaw and delivered a strategy to help users save money and Auctane better monetize, resulting in an additional $4mm ARR

Lead Designer

Oversaw the implementation of new features across the product while making sure to harmonize

• Delivered a new feature strategy to product called “Add-ons” that allowed customers to customize the product to their specific business needs while allowing ShipStation to better monetize features. Resulted in an additional $1m a month within the first 10 months

Senior Product Designer

Designed for key features on the ShipStation product, including a new order details page which unlocked enhanced functionality such as split shipments.

Lead Designer, Billing Experience

I served as the lead designer for the billing experience for the Public Cloud Platform, while also functioning as the team lead for designers covering 7 different product areas. My role was to unify the team and prioritize the work across those areas.

• Established relationships with the largest VADs partners to co-design a new account management experience. Led the effort to enable business partners to better sell IBM Cloud as a part of IBM’s long term selling strategy

Service & Visual Designer

Co-lead the endeavors to create a unified Cloud product by supporting collaboration between over 40 different team, building an internal design system, innovating new ways to deliver code and share functionality between teams.

• Led the effort to create and sell a vision for the design language on IBM Cloud that was subsequently adopted

• Coached teams and individuals in design thinking practices across the org

Interaction Designer

Along with my partner I led the product design for a mobile and web platform dedicated to giving Austin residents a voice and keeping them up to date on city happenings.

• Designed an end to end solution for civic engagement in Austin from research & synthesis to ideation, prototyping, testing, and finally executing on a final concept

• Coordinated with a development team to build the app prototype

• Collaborated with city officials to integrate the solution into their existing efforts

• Built and launched the organization in 2015 from the ground up

• Ran over 50 successful Learnshop events led by more than 30 different local makers and artists
